The Eastern Shore District connects 52 United Methodist Churches in Accomack and Northampton Counties with the Virginia Annual Conference, The United Methodist Church and the World in ministry to others on behalf of Christ. The clergy and laity of the Eastern Shore are supervised by a Conference appointed District Superintendent. The Virginia Conference is composed of 16 districts serving 1,209 local United Methodist congregations across most of the state of Virginia.

Although the sanctuary was lost, their fellowship building was saved. No one was injured, praise God.
Currently, Adam's congregation is worshipping at Metropolitan UMC (their sister church on the Leemont Charge) at the 10 am Sunday Service. Sunday School begins at 9 am. Adams church family is in the process of discerning their future. As needs unfold, information will be posted here at the District Website. Click here for their current needs.
